Negative Transference — energetic rape and pillage!

Today I want to talk about transference and the damage we do to ourselves inadvertently when we entertain it — literally. Transference is universal, frequently and inappropriately taking place across too many social and professional settings. And because we’re energetically and emotionally illiterate, we usually don’t even recognise it! We’ve accidentally welcomed it with open arms and as a consequence, land up feeling shit and undermining ourselves….believing we’re the problem?! ‘Let’s share a cup of tea whilst you gas my oxygen and rob me blind!’

It crops up with alarming insidious pervassiveness in my ‘catch ups’ with friends (sorry, just had sex with my thesaurus). At least one, and often both of us, has a poisoned example to share — a battle we’ve lost in the moment and only understood with careful hindsight! And because this energetic violation has such a detrimental impact on our self-esteem, I want to mitigate, at least some of it, through the enlightenment of certain esoteric truths….

In relation to my previous post on Death, I stated that humans are made of energy, amongst other more corporeal things — really everything is.

Besides the words we speak and think, we emit an overall frequency; a subliminal picture of our internal world. Some gifted individuals can physically see this phenomena, ‘auras’. For the rest of us, it’s more sentient and commonly referred to as ‘vibes’. We all know people who just ‘light-up’ the room, energy radiating from them, and others who drain it to 50 shades of grey — ’emotional vampires’. Whenever we interact with another life force our energies exchange and combine. Subsequent separation, leaves us either positively charged or depleted and occasionally even confusingly violated. It’s useful to visualise yourself as a battery! Please note that I mean positively charged in a literal sense — full of energy. Which doesn’t just have to be all ‘shinning happy people’ but can be hard stuff you need to hear…..like how to improve as a human being at work or at home.

We all have the propensity to radiate positive or negative energy, depending on our internal emotional state. Additionally, we have the power to give or take energy from each other. This becomes conscious through and managed by self-awareness. Healthy balanced relationships involve selfless giving and taking.

In these current times there are a lot of toxic individuals out and about. Aka those choosing to not take responsibility for themselves, with low E.Q (Emotional Intelligence) and brimming with noxious energy. These are the ‘Transferees‘, roaming freely to violate our Souls or steal our vibrancy. Our attraction or repulsion to them is relational to what internal unresolved issues or emotional triggers we have lurking in the deep.

Words, spoken or not, carry energy completing our transmission. I regularly, as a witch, get asked to define ‘magic spells’; the ‘patriarchal religious’ notion of scary, ugly crones flying through the night casting evil spells lives on! They are the words and thoughts we issue, influencing what we attract or repel. Hence why historical clichés like, ‘the pen is mightier than the sword’ continue to exist. Words live on within us long after physical wounds have healed, bad ones persisting in causing pain.

This concept is further explained by the Law of Attraction. This is what is happening to you and around you all the time. Whether you choose to accept this or not, it happens regardless. http://www.thelawofattraction.com/what-is-the-law-of-attraction/

And because this energy swap is largely overlooked, we fall victim to it. We don’t protect our energy centres and absorb other people’s crap — their hair-shirts. Through personal therapy you get a 2D perspective on transference and learn to distinguish it, yours and others. For example, when someone’s company makes you feel uncomfortable or confused and you recognise they’re transferring…unfortunately they won’t necessarily be consciously doing this, which is why it requires a high E.Q on your part.

To create heightened awareness of transference, it’s key to familiarise oneself to the body’s energy centres — chakras, as depicted in this image.

This proficiency then equips you to manage and strengthen the opening and closing of these centres at will, sensing which part of you is being attacked and responding/absorbing the negativity. Interestingly, the responsive part identifies where you have unresolved issues and/or physical health problems.

Physical health problems are the manifestations of mental anguish — that’s what the Chinese believe.

To give Transference the swerve it deserves, you should to do the following things:

  • Pinpoint and visualise your chakras, noting what organs and emotions they represent
  • Correlate any health or emotional ‘dis-ease’ — your weak points
  • Deal with what you find with the appropriate tools. I’m a huge fan of personal therapy, it facilitates the growth of emotional intelligence — ‘miracle grow’ for the Soul. Meditation is helpful as a way to check into these points and keep them clean and light.
  • Be selective about whom you surround yourself with where possible — you can elect to work in a positive environment. Working in a toxic one will definitely amplify or create poor health — so there isn’t really a choice here despite what you may tell yourself! Bin anyone who doesn’t make you feel charged.
  • Where it isn’t possible — the outside World — protect your chakras from the transferees and where possible avoid!

You can complement these actions with the items identified in this image, this helps to satisfy your inner retail therapy bitch.

I am a ‘alternative health’ adherent, not to the exclusion of what’s now coined ‘conventional medicine’ — oh the arrogance! — but as a first port of call or adjunct too.

I hope you’ve learnt something useful from my Blog, it was challenging to get this salient message across?
